Business Development Manager
Myrqvist is one of Stockholm’s fastest growing fashion start-ups and specialises in classically designed quality footwear. Myrqvist is disrupting the high-end footwear market for men, by offering handmade shoes for half of the price of traditional manufacturers. This is made possible thanks to a modern business model, in which Myrqvist omits retailers and other middlemen unnecessary to the 21st century. Starting with a Kickstarter campaign in 2016, Myrqvist became the most funded fashion campaign Sweden and in less than two years the products line has expanded, a store in Stockholm has been opened and shoes have been sold all over the world. Myrqvist is now aiming at entering new markets and has the ambition to become the best company in the world for men’s dress shoes. Myrqvist has received much traction recently, including articles in Dagens Industri, Svenska Dagbladet, Veckans Affärer, King, Café and more.
About the role
To keep up its high growth, Myrqvist is now searching for a Business Development Manager who can ensure future expansion of the business. As Business Development Manager at Myrqvist, your would be part of the management team and work with the CEO and founder. The role would entail a wide array of tasks and responsibilities that mostly be in the form of projects to bring the business forward. For example, a project could be to enter a new regional market, which could entail opening up a pop-up store, organise a marketing campaign, setting up the logistics, etc.

We are looking for you who are ambitious, driven and interested in building a company. You should have a flair for problem solving and challenges, as well as being able to take ownership and responsibility over your work. An appreciation for quality footwear is obviously an advantage.
